and now, a shameless plug

I vote with my feet and with my wallet. Where I spend my money matters to me and I want it to be an endorsement of what I believe in. To that end, I invite you, friends to our annual holiday party on Friday, November 27th, from 6-9pm. We will have local artisans and businesses featured so you can find interesting local gifts. We have our crazy membership sale and we have mens and womens clothing and travel mugs that help you proudly proclaim your love of FHY. 
Recently Carolynne took part in a photo shoot for our UpTown Business Improvement Association as part of a campaign to bring awareness and traffic to UpTown businesses  during our LRT construction phases. I notice a lot of messages of buy local, etc in my social media feeds, but how often do you believe that is feasible? We live in an area with a core that has a lot of thriving small businesses and I am throwing down the challenge to you to keep your holiday shopping as local as possible. With businesses like Amanda Sills Photography, Relish Cooking, Loop Clothing, Truth Beauty Co, Achieve Wellness, and The Waters (as well as FHY!) it is easy to find things uptown that make fantastic holiday gifts.
